The role of these body scanning dogs is one of detecting the presence of drugs on a person without bodily contact This can be accomplished in many ways. The Handler works his or her dog on a lead and harness.

• The dog can work static lines of people, static groups of people either sitting or standing. Or moving lines of people.

• The handler with his or her dog, walks in and out of the groups, without any bodily contact, by the dog, with the human resource.

The dog will indicate the presence of any drugs on a person, by sitting in front of that person. The handler will then notify the appropriate company official. All handlers have been facilitated in interpersonal skills.

Passive drug dogs can be facilitated in both an overt or covert manner enabling you the client to either show a high profile deterrent to potential carriers of drugs or carry out discreet intelligence gathering operations on your staff / visitors.

Passive drug dogs are trained to detect the following :

• Cannabis Resin & Herbal

• Heroin

• Cocaine

• Ecstasy (MDMA)

• Firearms

• Ammunition

• All derivatives of the above substances
